A high-ranking Daesh commander, Abu al-Hija, was killed in a strike by a drone by the US-led coalition in northern Syria, the EFE agency reports with reference to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
He was transferred to Syria from Iraq by the Daesh chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's order, Interfax reports.
