French energy company Total will sign a contract with Tehran to buy crude oil, the Chief Executive Officer of Total, Patrick Pouyanne, said.
"We plan to sign a contract which will allow us to take between 150,000 and 200,000 barrels of crude a day," he explained.
Earlier, Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said the Iranian delegation expects to sign an agreement with Total, RIA Novosti reminds.
