Tourist who fell on Elbrus evacuated with broken leg

EMERCOM rescuers are evacuating a tourist from Yekaterinburg, who fell on Mount Elbrus and broke her leg at a height of more than 5000 meters, the Regional Department of EMERCOM reported.

A representative of the Department has also noted that another rescue operation is being held there at the moment. “Today employees of the Elbrus Highlanf Rescue Unit are continuing to search for a tourist from Poland who got lost on Mount Elbrus on August 16th,” the representative said.
