The May holidays in North Ossetia will be marked by an unprecedented influx of tourists. About 90% of all accommodation inventory is already booked.
There are almost no free rooms left in the hotels of North Ossetia for the period of the long May holidays, the deputy head of the republican committee on tourism said.
According to Madina Tebiyeva, to date, tourists have booked 80-90% of the total accommodation inventory.
The number of vacationers choosing North Ossetia is steadily increasing. So, in January-February, the region hosted over 80,000 tourists. In 2022, about 750,000 tourists chose the republic for recreation.
For the new season, mountain art objects were provided with information plates. Travel applications with an online guide are being developed.
