Tourists shot in Naryn-Kala fortress

A group of tourists was shot during a visit to the Naryn-Kala fortress in Derbent.

"An unidentified assailant opened fire at a group of people who were on tour in the fortress and left the scene," RIA Novosti cited a representative of the Interior Ministry of Dagestan as saying.

According to the representative, eight people were injured as a result of the incident. The representative of the Ministry noted that the search for the assailant continues.
