 Train explosion southeast Turkey leaves 2 injured

A bomb supposedly planted by the Kurdistan Workers Party terrorist group struck a freight train in the Van province, resulting in two members of the train crew injured.

The bomb on the tracks badly damaged the locomotive and derailed four wagons apart from causing wounds to the personnel, Anadolu agency reported Saturday, citing the regional governor's office. 

The train's locomotive was damaged in the incident near the town of Saray in the Van province, near the Iranian border, the sources said.
