According to the Ministry of Emergency Measures of North Ossetia, vehicular traffic on the Transcaucasian Highway has been restored.
"Transcom is open from 17:00 MSK" Tass cites the agency's message.
Vestnik Kavkaza previously reported that traffic was stopped from 11:00 pm MSK due to strong winds and the threat of avalanches.
