The Russian Foreign Ministry has confirmed interest in hosting a trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Russia, Iran and Azerbaijan, Sergey Lavrov, Javad Zarif and Elmar Mammadyarov. According to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin, a meeting in such a format is being worked out.
"Yes, such a meeting is planned, let's wait for it," Trend quoted Karasin as saying.
