Tripoli, Ankara continue to investigate plane crash

Türkiye and Libya continue to communicate regarding the investigation into the crash of the plane carrying Libyan Chief of the General Staff, Mohammed al-Haddad. Al-Haddad's remains were delivered to Tripoli today.

Libyan Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Dbeibah stated that Libya and Türkiye continue to cooperate on the investigation into the plane crash near Ankara that killed a delegation of the Libyan General Staff.

"The investigation, in coordination with the Turkish side, will continue <...> until all the circumstances are clarified,”

– Hamid Dbeibah said.

Dbeibah noted that the remains of the deceased Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Armed Forces, Mohammed al-Haddad, and other Libyan generals were delivered to Tripoli on December 27.
