Trump and associates had 100 contacts with Russians before inauguration - NYT

During the 2016 presidential campaign and transition, U.S. President Donald Trump and at least 17 campaign officials and advisers had contacts with Russian nationals and WikiLeaks, a New York Times analysis has found.

At least 10 other associates were told about interactions but did not have any themselves.

Among these contacts are more than 100 in-person meetings, phone calls, text messages, emails and private messages on Twitter. Trump and his campaign repeatedly denied having such contacts with Russians during the 2016 election.

The president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., had at least 17 contacts with Russians and a Russian intermediary, Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and a White House senior adviser, had at least 6 contacts, while Roger Stone, the longtime GOP operative who worked as an informal adviser on the campaign, appears to have had the most contacts - at least 18.
