US President Donald Trump returned to his criticism of the Iranian government, calling on Tehran to replace Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Trump voiced a series of accusations against Khamenei after Khamenei criticized Trump for supporting unrest in Iran.
The US President used the Iranian Supreme Leader's remarks about the deaths of several thousand people during the unrest as an excuse to accuse the Iranian government of killing civilians and destroying the statehood of the Islamic Republic.
Trump suggested that Iran's leadership should follow his example in how to govern properly.
