U.S. President Donald Trump said that phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin was short but constructive, the White House press pool informed.
It was a "short talk but a good talk," TASS cited the U.S. president as saying.
During a press briefing on the South Lawn of the White House, the U.S. leader said that he and Putin had discussed the wildfires in Russia, with Trump offering U.S. assistance.
Trump added that the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) wasn't discussed in a phone call, the White House press pool said.
