Trump: if I got impeached, market would crash

U.S. President Donald Trump said the stock market would plummet if he were to be removed from office.

"If I ever got impeached, I think the market would crash. I think everybody would be very poor," the president said in a Fox News interview aired today.

"Because without this thinking, you would see numbers that you wouldn't believe in reverse. I got rid of regulations. The tax cut was a tremendous thing," CNBC cited the president as saying.

"I don't know how you can impeach somebody who's done a great job," Trump told "Fox & Friends."
