U.S. President Donald Trump officially launched his 2020 presidential campaign Tuesday night in Orlando.
Vice President Mike Pence took the stage prior to the president and said, "We're here for one reason and one reason only: America needs four more years of President Donald Trump."
For the most part, the rally focused on Trump's policy successes, on a range of matters including criminal justice reform and the economy.
"Our country is soaring to incredible new heights," Trump asserted. "Our economy is the envy of the world, perhaps the greatest economy we've had in the history of our country," Fox News cited him as saying.
Trump called his election that year as a "defining moment in American history." "We did it once and now we will do it again and this time we will finish the job," he stressed.
The 59th United States presidential election is scheduled to take place on November 3, 2020.
