US President Donald Trump congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his appointment as Prime Minister of Armenia. The relevant message was published on the official website of the head of government.
“The United States supports a prosperous and democratic Armenia, peacefully coexisting with its neighbors. Together we can record progress in the deepening trade and economic ties between our countries, strengthening global security and fighting corruption,” Trump said.
"A peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will contribute to these efforts," the American president emphasized.
