Kazakh Ambassador to the United States Yerzhan Kazykhanov handed his credentials to US President Donald Trump on April 24.
Kazykhanov conveyed Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's greetings and best regards to the US leader during a meeting in the White House, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry's press service said on Tuesday.
Trump, in turn, highly assessed Astana's role in international and regional security efforts.
