U.S. President Donald Trump received the Architect of Peace Award from the Nixon Foundation during a ceremony at the White House, sources told CBS News.
Among those presenting it were Richard Nixon's daughter Tricia Nixon Cox and former national security adviser Robert O'Brien.
"President Trump's America First foreign policy is rooted in robust personal diplomacy combined with a peace-through-strength philosophy. The results have been simply incredible in the number of ceasefires and peace deals that he has achieved around the world," the Nixon Foundation said.
Trump was central to the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas, which was announced two days before the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded.
Trump has publicly advocated that he should receive the Nobel Peace Prize, saying he had intervened in numerous conflicts.
