Washington’s agreement with the Taliban (the organization banned in Russia) in the framework of which the US is significantly reducing its contingent in Afghanistan, is a part of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, the head of the international committee of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev said.
“The United States and the Afghan radical movement have signed a peace agreement in Qatar, and if that helps to solve many of Afghanistan’s problems, we will be happy,” the senator added.
