Türkiye urged Iran to stop its support for the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), issuing a stern warning during a high-level meeting in Iraq's Sulaymaniyah, according to sources.
Turkish officials presented photographic evidence of the alleged weapon shipments at an airport to Iranian representatives. The Iranian delegation denied these allegations, asserting that the cargo in question had no connection to the PKK.
Turkish officials said that any future weapons shipments to the PKK would be met with destruction, Yeni Safak reported.
