Türkiye launches naval exercises in three seas

The Turkish Navy has begun the Denizkurdu-I/2025 exercises, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced.

According to the ministry's statement, the maneuvers are taking place in the Black, Mediterranean, and Aegean Seas.

"The Denizkurdu-I/2025 exercises, which the Naval Command will conduct in all surrounding seas, have begun. 92 ships and 66 aircraft will participate", 

the Turkish Defense Ministry announced.

The exercises aim to evaluate operational command effectiveness and control of the Naval Headquarters, improve the assessment, forecasting, and decision-making capabilities of the headquarters personnel, and test interaction with other command forces.

The naval drills commenced yesterday. They will conclude on Friday, October 10.
