The Turkish Consulate General will appear in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, in the city of Shusha, the Turkish leader said in Baku.
"We are ready to open a consulate general in Shusha whenever Baku wants it, and this will be our message to the whole world, in particular to Armenia",
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said.
Erdoğan made the statement within the framework of negotiations in an expanded format with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Let us remind you that Erdoğan is in Azerbaijan on a two-day official visit, this is his first trip abroad after winning the elections.
Shusha was liberated in November 2020, before that it had been occupied by Armenia for many years. Today, it is the actively restored cultural capital of Azerbaijan.
