The Turkish Defense Ministry continues talks with the Pentagon to resolve the issue of the fifth-generation F-35 US fighters delivery and the acquisition by Turkey of Russia’s S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems. A relevant statement was made today by the Minister of National Defense of Turkey, Hulusi Akar, following talks in Washington with the acting US Secretary of Defense, Patrick Shanahan.
According to the head of the Turkish Ministry, an agreement was reached at the meeting to continue the negotiations on these topics and do everything possible to resolve problems between the countries.
