According to Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey Feridun Sinirlioglu, servicemen of Turkey and the United States are to create a security zone in Syria and protect it.
"We and the United States have a common understanding on the reason why we create a security zone. We’ve agreed on its establishment at the border of Syria. It will be protected by the Air Force in case of possible attacks of Islamic State, (Kurdish) Democratic Unity Party (PDE), or forces of the Assad regime,’’ Tass cites local mass media.
