Turkey has approved the production of Russia's Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine, member of the Coronavirus Scientific Advisory Board Afsin Emre Kayipmaz said on Monday.
"Turkey carried out vaccine production research and a company involved in the process was granted permission upon request," the Yeni Safak newspaper cited the expert as saying.
Earlier, Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said that that deliveries of Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V to Turkey may begin within four or five months.
