Turkey buys Russia’s S-400

Today, Nurettin Canikli, the head of the Turkish Defense Ministry, confirmed the fact of Ankara's acquisition of Russia’s  S-400 missile system.

Canikli also noted that later Turkey plans to start developing its own air defense system.

Earlier it was reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced signing of an agreement with Moscow and granting an advance payment, TASS reports.
