Turkey is clearing the way for the terrorist organization Islamic State with its current operation against Kurdish militants operating in the north of Syria and Iraq, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Hassan Firouzabadi stated.
"The Turkish government is conducting attacks against the Kurds who oppose IS, and the way to the Turkish border becomes easier for the terrorists," RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
The military commander noted that IS aims to establish its authority over all Muslim countries and sooner or later it will become a threat to all of them, including Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the Major-General cautioned them against an "alliance with IS".
