Turkey is demanding that the United States either change its decision on the supply of F-35 fighters or return the money. This statement was made by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
"As for the F-35, Congress needs to reconsider its decision. We say either cancel this decision or return the money we invested", the Turkish foreign minister said in an interview with Anadolu news agency.
Let us remind you that earlier the USA excluded Turkey from the program for the latest F-35 fighters' supply due to Ankara's purchase of Russian S-400 air defense systems. According to Bloomberg, Turkey intends to return membership in the program for the admission of Sweden and Finland to NATO.
