Turkey continues negotiations with Russia and Ukraine on the evacuation of its citizens, the Minister of National Defense of Turkey Hulusi Akar informed.
”On February 24, we sent two A400M aircraft for humanitarian assistance. At the same time, we were planning the evacuation of our citizens," he said.
According to Akar, now two Turkish planes are waiting at the Boryspil airport in Kyiv due to the closure of the airspace. "We continue our contacts with both Russia and Ukraine on this issue," RIA Novosti quotes the minister as saying.
