The necessary work is underway to launch a joint ceasefire monitoring center in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Turkish National Defense Ministry's spokeswoman Nadide Sebnem Aktop said.
Speaking at a weekly press conference, Aktop said that in accordance with a recent agreement between Turkey and Russia, work and coordination were ongoing for the activation of a joint center to uphold and monitor last month's cease-fire between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Anadolu Agency reported.
She said that Turkish demining specialists are helping the Azerbaijani army to demine the territories liberated from Armenian occupation and organize training.
"We stand with all our opportunities alongside the brotherly Azerbaijani people in their just cause," Aktop said.
