Turkish Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalın said that Ankara has no plans to close the Incirlik Air Base for the U.S. Air Force.
"The status of Incirlik Air Base in Turkey will not change," Daily Sabah cited him as saying.
Earlier this week, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he was imposing sanctions on Turkish officials and agencies regarding Ankara's assault into northeastern Syria.
