"Turkey not to allow new 'state' to be established near its borders"

Turkey's defense minister Hulusi Akar said that the country  stands for preserving Syria’s territorial integrity.

Speaking at Anadolu Agency’s Editors’ Desk, Akar noted that the country will not allow any new 'state' to be established near its borders." He stressed that Turkey will never allow a terror corridor to be established in its south. 

According to the minister, the parties that support the terrorists have already realized that Turkey won’t make concessions in the fight against terrorists.

Akar noted that for Turkey there is no difference between the PYD/YPG militants and other terrorists. "Turkey has repeatedly proved its determination in the fight against terrorism,” Turkish media cited him as saying.
