Turkey has prevented a total of 229 attacks across the country, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Nurettin Cankli announced on Sept. 7, Hurriyet Daily News reported.
Speaking at a press conference after a cabinet meeting in Ankara, Canikli said 155 of those attacks were bomb attacks.
He noted that 39 car bomb and 19 suicide bomb attacks targeting the country had also been prevented.
