The Turkish legislation to meet European Union criteria on visa liberalization will be completed on May 2, Turkey's minister for EU affairs, Volkan Bozkir, told broadcaster NTV.
He expects the EU Commission to recommend the lifting of visas for Turks traveling to Europe in a report on May 4th, Reuters reports.
"If all goes well, we expect a decision recommending the lifting of visas on Tuesday" the EU minister said.
