 Turkey's Denizli hit by 5.8-magnitude earthquake

A 5.8-magnitude quake has hit southwestern Turkey, 52 km to the east of Denizli, the United States Geological Survey has reported.

According to Turkey's earthquake observatory, it was a 6.5-magnitude quake. 

The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency said the quake was centred on the town of Bozkurt, in Denizli province, Sputnik reported.

​No casualties or damage have so far been reported. The Kandilli Observatory said the quake took place 10 km underground.
