A 5.8-magnitude quake has hit southwestern Turkey, 52 km to the east of Denizli, the United States Geological Survey has reported.
According to Turkey's earthquake observatory, it was a 6.5-magnitude quake.
The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency said the quake was centred on the town of Bozkurt, in Denizli province, Sputnik reported.
No casualties or damage have so far been reported. The Kandilli Observatory said the quake took place 10 km underground.
