The number of Russian tourists visiting foreign countries increased by 15% in summer 2024, Executive Director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) Maya Lomidze said, noting that the majority of tourists visit Turkey.
The demand for foreign holidays has increased, this applies especially to Egypt and Thailand, by 22%, the ATOR chief said.
