Turkey has suspended 900 police officers in Ankara on suspicion they have links with an Islamic movement headed by a US-based cleric the government says masterminded a failed coup, Reuters reports with reference to an official speaking on condition of anonymity.
9332 people were arrested in Turkey, including two adjutant of the President, 492 personnel of Turkey's Religious Affairs Directorate, 100 police officers, 6038 soldiers, 755 judges and prosecutors, more than 250 employees of the Prime Minister's office and 650 civilians.
