Six new football stadiums will be built in such Turkish cities as Ankara, Elazig, Erzincan, Hakkari, Sirnak and Edirne, Turkey's Youth and Sports Ministry said in a message, noting that 820 million Turkish liras ($217 million) will be spent for this purpose.
In addition, the construction of 14 stadiums are underway in the cities of Afyonkarahisar, Antalya, Eskisehir, Gaziantep, Kocaeli, Malatya, Mersin, Sakarya, Samsun, Sivas, Trabzon, Bursa, Konya and Manisa.
