Turkey to build another nuclear plant

Turkish Energy Minister Ali Rıza Alaboyun said that Turkey’s third nuclear plant will be built in the northern area of İğneada.

“We have been in talks with several companies. Chinese companies and US-based Westinghouse have shown interest so far. We signed a memorandum of understanding. Japanese companies are also interested in the project,” he noted.
