Turkey is developing legal norms to regulate social networks and combat misinformation distributed there, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in an interview with the Yeni Safak newspaper, commenting on the purchase of Twitter by the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk.
“Actually, I am not very keen of social networks, but we cannot refuse them. What needs to be done? Introduce legal norms, we are currently working on,” TASS quotes him as saying.
