A meeting of Information Ministers and heads of key media of the Cooperation Council of Turkic States (Turkic Council), which will be held tomorrow in Astana, will be devoted to reaching a new level of cooperation between the Turkic-speaking media. At the meeting, in particular the protocol between national TV channels of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will be signed and a memorandum on cooperation between news agencies will be adopted.
According to the Trend news agency, they intend to unite information systems of Turkic states in order to achieve proper transfer of socio-political, socio-economic and cultural news of members of the Turkic Council to an international audience. In this regard, the Ministers and heads of media will discuss organizational issues of a single Turk news channel.
The Republic of Azerbaijan will be represented by a delegation under the leadership of the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan on socio-political issues, the head of the department of social and political issues of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov.
