Two earthquakes struck the Turkish provinces of Balıkesir and Bingöl on Sunday morning, according to the country's Emergency Management Agency.
The first tremor, measuring 4.4 in magnitude, hit Bingöl province, with its hypocenter located at a depth of 7 kilometers. The tremors were felt in the Yedisu district.
Just over an hour later, residents of Balıkesir felt a second quake registering 3.1, with the hypocenter located at a depth of 15 kilometers.
No casualties or damage have been reported.
