Turkish Defense Minister Fikri Isik's car cortege was involved in a road accident in the Gumushane province.
Five people were injured in the accident and were sent to the nearest hospitals, Trend reported.
No other details of the incident were reported.
Turkish Defense Minister was taking part in rallies in the Gumushane province in support of the constitutional reforms in Turkey.
