Turkish Defense Ministry: no emergency situation in Black Sea

Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar spoke about the situation in the Black Sea. According to him, there is no emergency situation in the Black Sea, at the moment mine search vessels are on duty.

"There is no emergency in the Black Sea. Our mine-search vessels are on duty", Akar said.

Earlier, Turkish media had reported that the movement of a mine-like object was observed at the entrance to the Bosphorus. Later, the Turkish Defense Ministry confirmed that the object found was a mine, and announced negotiations with Russia and Ukraine on this issue. The strait was closed to the ships traffic. Later the movement of ships resumed.
