According to a statement of the General Staff of Turkey, Turkish Air Force fighter aircrafts have attacked several targets during air strikes on positions of militants in Turkey of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the southeast of the country.
"Two F-16 fighter aircrafts of the Turkish Air Force found targets of the separatist terrorist organization in the province of Sirnak and delivered air strikes at them. The targets were destroyed. Servicemen are assessing the damage caused by the militants,’’ RIA Novosti cites a statement by the Turkish General Staff.
