Türkiye expects to develop relations with Russia and China in all areas. This statement was made on July 16 by the country's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan after the meeting of the Cabinet.
The Turkish President emphasized that on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Kazakhstan, he had a number of important meetings, which, he believes, will lead to very favorable results.
"We are determined to improve our cooperation with Russia and China in all areas, from trade, tourism and transport to investment",
the Turkish leader said.
He emphasized that Türkiye intends to bring its trade to a more balanced and sustainable level with investment partners.
"Our doors are wide open for all types of investment that will add value to our country's economy, provided that investment is not used for political leverage",
