Turkey's largest broadcaster is making a new film about the peoples of Dagestan. The film crew visited seven regions of the republic.
It spent a few days in the Avar State Music and Drama Theatre named after Gamzat Tsadasa and filmed material about its history as well as took an interview with its director and actors.
It is expected that the Turks will stay in Dagestan for a month, they expect to visit the mountain villages and to interview the head of the republic Ramazan Abdulatipov.
The film will be shown in Turkey on the TRT TV channel and also in other countries, with simultaneous translation into Russian and English languages, RIA Dagestan reports.
