Two fights took place last night in Tokyo near the building of the Turkish Embassy in Japan, where voting in the repeated parliamentary elections is being held today.
"A large number of Turks came to the embassy at about six in the morning. They started a brawl in a nearby parking lot, and several police officers rushed to the scene of the fight," RIA Novosti quotes a witness of the incident.
As a result of the fights, a total of 12 people were injured, 9 of whom were hospitalized, RIA Novosti reported.
