Companies from Turkey have won a tender for the construction of a cargo terminal (Terminal B) and interterminal tunnel that will connect the northern and southern parts of the air hub at Sheremetyevo Airport. Three bids were submitted by the Austrian company Strabag, and by the companies with Turkish capital Limak Construction and Renaissance Construction.
According to director of the airport, Mikhail Vasilenko, two Turkish projects have already been sent for the major state expertise, but it is not known yet how exactly the contracts will be distributed.
Vasilenko also noted that both companies have Russian accreditation, so they do not fall under the sanctions, RBC reports.
