Turkish Statistical Service data confirms Russia imported $15.1 million worth of confectionery products during October 2025, representing record growth.
The import composition included $7.3 million in chocolate products (48% annual increase), $5.2 million in flour-based confections, and $2.7 million in sugar-based confectionery items.
In total, since the beginning of the year, Russia has purchased Turkish sweets for $109.1 million, RIA Novosti reports.
