A Turkish delegation, featuring Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, will visit Russia on December 29, spokesman for the Justice and Development Party Omer Celik said.
"On Saturday, a delegation, featuring Turkish Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalin, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and National Intelligence Organization head Hakan Fidan, will pay a visit to Russia," the spokesman said.
"If needed, the presidents of Turkey and Russia might hold one-on-one talks," TASS cited Celik as saying.
On Tuesday, Cavusoglu announced plans for a visit to Moscow so as to discuss the U.S. troops’ withdrawal from Syria.
